TCFAM hosting Earth Day Celebration

The Tipton County Farmers & Artisans Market (TCFAM) is hosting their Earth Day Celebration Market on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at the Tipton County 4-H Fairgrounds big building, located at 1200 S. Main St. in Tipton.

At this event, you will find more than 35 farmer and artisan vendors, live music with Xan Hughes – theramin, a seed giveaway and a few lucky shoppers who will walk away with some gifts.

Thanks to Representative Heath VanNatter, Tipton County Purdue Extension and Tipton County Soil & Water, there will be free trees given away. This will include Red Oak, Chestnut Oak, Scarlet Oak and Silver Maple varieties.

“We want to provide an “earthy” experience for everyone who attends the upcoming market and what better way than to celebrate Earth Day. Our focus has always been homegrown and handcrafted offerings from our TCFAM vendors and it has been really great connecting with other organizations in Tipton County to add some special touches to this market,” stated Erin Shockley, TCFAM Market Manager. “We can’t wait to see everyone at the market!”

This will be the last indoor market for the TCFAM and then their location changes back to the great outdoors in Tipton from May to September 2025.
