In a fun, but helpful challenge, the Tipton City Police Department and the Tipton City Fire Department are in a battle. The battle will help Tipton residents with food insecurities. They have both created fancy boxes that the public can come into the lobby of the Public Service Building with nonperishable food items. Their goal is to receive the most donations. All the donated items will be used at the Little Free Pantry on Oak Street. Pictured are (from left) Cheyenne Watson (TPD), Randy Saltzman (TPD) and Seth Hougesen (TFD). Help your favorite emergency response unit make it to the top, all while helping provide food for those who need it. This challenge will take place throughout April. Donations can also be dropped off at Tipton’s American Legion. Let the best team win!
