The Tipton Middle School golf team won the MIC tournament at Tipton Municipal G.C. on Saturday with a 177. Jameson Butler (center) won the individual title with a round of 39 that included birdies on three of his last four holes. Walker Smith (second from left) won a two-hole playoff for fifth-place medalist, carding a 45. The other members of the Blue Devils are (from left) Gavin Armes (53), Miles Pearce (45) and Grant Servies (48). Western placed second with 186, Hamilton Hts. was third with 206 and Kokomo fourth with 275. Logansport did not field a complete team.Photo provided
