ANDERSON – Marjorie Ann (Donaldson) Sinclair, 93, of Anderson, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, wife and friend, passed away March 25, 2023, at Crown Point Assisted Living after a life well lived and two-year battle with cancer.
Marge was born in Arcadia to the late Sir Wilford and Grace Merle (Trueblood) Donaldson on Sept. 15, 1929. She attended Arcadia Jr. Sr. High School.
She retired from Delco Remy after 30 plus years of service.
She belonged to UAW local 662 and was active in the American Businesswomen’s Association.
Marge was generous, fun, and caring. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, traveling, reading, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Marge was proceeded in death by her parents, Sir Wilford and Grace Merle (Trueblood) Donaldson; her husband, Meredith Sinclair; and her siblings, Anna Marie Gronek, Vera Jean Thomas, Wayne Donaldson and Thomas Donaldson.
She is survived by her children, LouAnn (Charles) Armstrong of Anderson, Mary Gipson of Anderson and Kevin Sinclair of Anderson; grandchildren, Steven Hopkins, Aaron Hopkins, Michele (Chris) Gipson Davis, and Jessica Gipson; great-grandchildren, Kelly Hopkins, Taylor Hopkins, Mason Lewis and Isaac Gipson; and great-greatgrandchildren, Madeline and Jackson Cunningham.
She is also survived by longtime friend and hairdresser, Susan McCord and Physical Therapist extraordinaire, Mary Huddle.
The family would also like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to the fabulous nurses of Geneva hospice for providing excellent care and support to our family.
A memorial service will be at noon on Thursday, March 30, at Legacy Funeral Services, 504 W. 9th St., in Anderson. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon with burial following at Arcadia Cemetery.
