Jackson Tunnell is the Tipton Police Department’s newest police officer. Officer Tunnell was officially sworn in by Tipton County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Lett. Tunnell was raised in Elwood and graduated from Elwood High School in 2018. He still resides in Elwood with his wife and children. Tunnell will attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in August. In the meantime, he will begin his field training with TPD.
