Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner planned

The annual free Thanksgiving Dinner will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at the Tipton County 4-H Community Building, located at 1200 S. Main St. This is open to the public, no matter the reason you want to come and enjoy it.

If you are home-bound or need delivery of a Thanksgiving Dinner this year, please call 317-538-3327 on Wednesday, Nov. 27 to request your delivery.

Why should you come to this free Thanksgiving Dinner? Here are just a few reasons:

• You don’t have the “fixin’s for a traditional dinner or the appliances that you need.

• If you are empty-nesters.

• If you are single, even just temporarily.

• If you are living alone or housemates are away for the holiday.

• If it is your turn to host the meal, but you are just not up to it. Bring the entire family.

• If you think Thanksgiving is too late this year. (It is later this year than the norm.)

• If you have lots of friends and family but would like to join a couple of hundred more (coming and going) at the 4-H Community Building.

For those reasons or any other reasons, join the community on Thanksgiving at the 4-H Community Building. This is free to all with free-will contributions accepted in any amount, but none required. Donations can also be given at tiptoncf.org/giving.

Thanks to all who have made this happen for the 17th year!
