This week, on the evening of March 13 and into the morning of March 14, the moon will slide into Earth’s shadow, creating a wondrous and graceful event: a total lunar eclipse. The whole show, over three hours long, will be visible across almost the entirety of North America, Central America, and most of South America.

INDIANAPOLIS – Gov. Mike Braun and the Indiana Department of Transportation today announced the award of more than $200 million in Community Crossings matching grants for local road and bridge projects across 245 Indiana cities, towns, and counties.

• Jasmine Marie Purnell, 21, Tipton, was arrested on March 4, 2025, by the Tipton City Police Department on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.
Members of the Artwork committee and other interested individuals shared their information with the library board at its March monthly meeting. Committee spokesperson, Gae Henderson Matchette, reported the committee had visited three Indiana art museums to see how other facilities handled donated pieces of art. All museum curators offered tips for the Tipton library, and two curators from the Indiana State Museum even came to Tipton, examined the art and offered suggestions.
