The Tipton County Commissioners heard from several department heads at their meeting on Monday.

At their most recent meeting, members of the Tipton County Council approved county council appointments to various boards. Appointed to the Joint E-911 Executive Board was Councilman Korey Henderson. Brad Nichols has also be added to that board. Frank Letsinger has accepted the county council’s appointment on the Alcohol Beverage Commission. Councilman Henderson also took the appointment on the Health First Indiana Council.

SHARPSVILLE - Tri-Central Community School Board recognized several students at their February meeting. This included three Tri-Central wrestlers that had advanced to Semi-State at the Fort Wayne Coliseum and after strong performances at Regionals, Patrick Kinney and Cory Dowden, both Oak Hill Sectional champions, finished as runners-up at the Peru Regional, while Jaiton Archer secured a third-place finish to qualify. The team placed 7th out of 20 at Regionals. At Semi-State, all three wrestlers were eliminated in the first round.
