Paying for needs and wants

The county governing body (Board of Commissioners) and the county fiscal body (County Council) met recently to discuss and prioritize the needs and wants of Tipton County.BOC member Tracey Powell shared possible upcoming projects: PERF (public employment retirement fund) for all county employees, a second matching READI grant from the state, and broadband expansion into all of Tipton County.

1983• It was homecoming at both Tipton and Tr-Central High Schools this week and the lucky ladies crowned queens of the festivities were Tracy Hiatt, the 17-year-old daughter of Tyler and Nancy Hiatt for Tipton and Tina Ripberger, the 17-year-old daughter of Ed and Judy Ripberger for Tri-Central.
