Tipton resident David Brown purchased a house on a small piece of land on North Main Street in 2023. At the time, the septic system was a functioning system. Two years have passed; now Brown states his system is near the failure point.

Tipton Community Theatre will present “Don’t Dress for Dinner” on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 13 at 2 p.m. All performances take place at the Tipton High School Auditorium. It will be a fun night with Bernard and Robert, who are up to no good and then Bernard’s wife, Jacqueline, decides to stay home for the weekend, disturbing his plans! Oh my!

INDIANAPOLIS - Agricultural producers who have not yet enrolled in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) or Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for the 2025 crop year have until April 15, 2025, to revise elections and sign contracts. Both safety net programs, delivered by USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA), provide vital income support to eligible farmers who experience substantial declines in crop prices or revenues for the 2025 crop year. In Indiana, producers have completed 91,519 contracts to date, representing 80.2% of the more than 114,000 expected contracts.
