Waal, they was mighty fine eatin’, cook as they were in the arn skillet we bring along. Your Aunt Grace, she make some frybread to go along with, an’ a han’ful a coffee in th’ ol’ tin pot asittin’ on the farr. Moughty fine. Mought near as good a meal I ever eat.
After a long health battle, Judith Kay Barnes, age 82, of Elwood, was finally reunited with her husband Jack on Sunday, May 14, 2023, when she passed peacefully with her family by her side. Judy was born in Elwood on January 8, 1941, to the late Everett and Rebecca (Teeter) Barber.
1955-2023 Donald E. Mark, 67, of Wabash, formerly of Elwood, Indiana passed away at 3:34 p.m.
Robert L. “Bob” Martin, age 72 and a lifelong resident of Elwood, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Ascension-St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a very brief illness. He was born March 23, 1951 in Elwood, the son of Orval and Frances (Kuntz) Martin.
Rebecca Sue “Becky” Alexander, age 73 of Anderson and a native of Elwood, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Community Hospital in Anderson following a very sudden illness. She was born May 22, 1949 in Elwood, the daughter of Lloyd H.
