New flag poles and flags at Fairview

New flag poles were recently installed at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton. Funds were used from the Tipton County Foundation Veteran’s Memorial Fund, which until recently was for the Memorial at the Tipton County Courthouse only, but had never been used.

INDOT celebrates Earth Day with Trash Bash!

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that the agency’s Trash Bash! event will take place April 21 through 23, coinciding with Earth Day. Trash Bash! is an opportunity for volunteers to help beautify the state’s roadside areas by picking up trash and debris. Previously an annual event, the program was temporarily halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sheridan Car Show

On Saturday, May 6, the Sheridan Historical Society in conjunction with the Hamilton County Bicentennial Celebration will be holding a free antique car show. The show will be at Veteran’s Park, 99 South Main Street, in Sheridan.
