Alexandria Children’s Easter Party

The Churches of Alexandria will host the annual Alexandria Children’s Easter Party on Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to noon at First Baptist Church, 2107 S. Park Avenue for toddlers through sixth grade. There will be games, snacks, crafts, and an egg hunt.

Elwood Citywide Easter Egg Hunt planned for April 8

Rain or shine, the Elwood Citywide Easter Egg Hunt always promises fun, candy, and prizes for area youth. The annual event is organized by Dot Harting and sponsored by the Elwood VFW Post 5782 and First Option Trucking Co./Douglas Brankle. The event is planned for Saturday, April 8 at 2 p.m. at Callaway Park.
