CENTER — The Tipton High School boys soccer team came away from here with a 1-0 victory over Taylor last Wednesday in a game that was played in hot and humid conditions.Sophomore Quinn Smith scored with 8 minutes remaining in the first half to put the Blue Devils up 1-0.Tipton held on getting a strong defensive effort from everyone.The Blue Devils were scheduled to host Tri-Central last Thursday but the game was moved to Tuesday, Sept.

SHARPSVILLE — It took two days but Tri-Central’s varsity football team picked up its first win of the season here.The Trojans led 21-6 Wes-Del in the second quarter when play was suspended because of the storms on Friday night.
