GASTON — Tri-Central may have still been feeling the sting of Friday night’s 64-47 Hoosier Conference loss to Sheridan and former coach Bill Bowen when the Trojans made the trek to Wes-Del High School on Saturday night.But the Trojans pushed it aside and managed to come up big when they needed to most as they left Wes-Del with a 65-60 overtime victory over the Warriors.“This was a good old-fashioned Indiana high school basketball game that was a shame anyone had to lose,” TC coach Cam Hindman said.

The Tipton High School girls basketball team is still searching for its first win of the season.
