National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is observed annually during the second week of April. In 2025, it will be celebrated from April 13 to April 19. This week is a time to recognize and appreciate the vital work of public safety telecommunicators, who serve as the crucial link between the community and emergency responders. • Michael Eugene Ritter, 60, Marion, was arrested on April 1 by the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office on charges of driving while suspended, operating a vehicle with an ACE of .08 or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person.
