Tipton FFA members demonstrated their skills and dedication on Feb. 27, 2025, as they competed against other schools in the area during the Leadership Development Events (LDE) contests. These competitions provide students with opportunities to develop premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through FFA.
March is a time to celebrate the vibrant tapestry of the arts that enriches our schools. This month music, art, band, choir, dance, and theater take center stage. March has been designated by the National Association for Music Education as “Music in our Schools Month,” by the National Theatre Association as “Theatre in Our Schools Month,” by the Council for Art Education as “Youth Art Month, and by the National Dance Education Organization as “Dance in Our Schools Month.”
Tri-Central FFA Chapter recently had a successful Leadership Development night. Moving on to state are Lucy Ryan - Ag Communications Proficiency, Jonathan Deweese - Ag Sales Presentation and Kaitlyn Marusewski - Extemporaneous Public Speaking and Employment Skills. Bringing home hardware was Lillian Stewart - 2nd Scrapbook, Audrey Maruszewski and Bella Stewart - 3rd Horticulture and Landscape Demonstration and Kaitlyn Maruszewski - 2nd Premier Leadership. Other participants were: Lucy Ryan - Multimedia Scrapbook and Essay, Emily and Audrey Maruszewski - Food Science Demonstration, Braiden Vandenvender - Natural Resources Demonstration, Rubie Taylor, Sam Rinehart, Lucy Ryan and Jonathan Deweese - Exhibit and our quiz bowl teams of Bella Stewart, Emily Maruszewski, Ava Stewart, Layla Ahrens, Judson Hinkle, Eli McCoy Jayden and Jordan Hogwood and Ellie Taylor -Animal Science Demonstration.
