Student nurses welcomed in traditional induction ceremony
KOKOMO — Indiana University Kokomo’s newest class of student nurses took the first steps toward becoming healthcare professionals at the School of Nursing and Allied Health Professions (SNAHP) traditional induction ceremony Wednesday (January 15).
Fall dean’s list, chancellor’s list, honor academic achievement
KOKOMO — In the fall 2024 semester, 708 full-time Indiana University Kokomo students earned chancellor’s list or dean’s list honors. Chancellor’s list students earned a 4.0 grade point average (GPA), while dean’s list students earned a minimum 3.5 GPA on a scale of 4.0, while carrying at least 12 credit hours throughout the grading period. Cochrane elected as President of TCSC School Board of Trustees
Robert Cochrane was elected president of the Tipton Community School Corporation Board of Trustees at its Monday, January 13 meeting. Jennifer Humrichous was elected vice president and Andrea Campbell as secretary.
TCSC starts year with Oath of Office and reorganization
Members of the Tipton Community School Board of Trustees began the year with Julia Kozicki of Church, Church, Hittle and Antrim administering the Oath of Office to the new and re-elected Board members, Andrea Campbell, Kimberly Fague, Jennifer Humrichous and Beth Woelfert.
Tri-Central School Board tends to first of the year responsibilities
SHARPSVILLE - Tri-Central Community Schools Board of Finance recently met for their first meeting of the year. During the meeting, Notary Public Erin Wethington administered the Board Member Oath of Office to members starting a new term. This included Chris Kelley, Jay Rayl, Dennis Richardson and Donnie Treadway.
