Three Indiana students have been awarded college scholarships from The Dunham House Educational Foundation for the 2023-2024 school year. The foundation provides financial assistance to students who are underserved yet motivated to attend college to study some aspect of history.

This 11-acre outdoor classroom is being revitalized thanks to a collaborative effort led by Joe Gosnell, Tipton High School Science teacher and Tera Gotschall, a 2021 Tipton High School graduate who will be entering her third year of college at Indiana University-Kokomo in the fall.

Tipton Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of Green Street in the City of Tipton at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, along with automatic aid from Cicero Township Volunteer Fire Department, for a report of a structure fire. Engine 10 and Medic 81 arrived on the scene approximately four minutes after the initial 911 call to find flames showing from the south side of the structure.
