During the last Tipton County Commissioners’ meeting, a congratulation was voiced by Tipton County Highway Department Superintendent Bret Morris. Morris recognized Sherri Crawford for the work she has done with the Road Scholar Program through the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP).

Arrests reported •Thorne P. Lamott, 27, Kempton, was arrested June 6 at 10:17 p.m.

Members of the Tipton Common Council met Monday at Tipton City Hall. Information was shared with council members from an earlier Board of Works (BOW) meeting. The BOW approved Phase 1 of the downtown park. They also approved a street closure for the Summer Reading Program on July 20.
