Commissioners hear old jail proposal

Tipton County Foundation Director Mark Baird proposed to the Tipton County Commissioners - a housing project for the old jail. He stated the Foundation knows the need for housing and knows the value of preserving historic buildings. Baird stressed, “The Foundation doesn’t have to own the property; we have no burning desire to be the ‘forever’ owners.”
