During the early morning hours of Feb. 7, 2025, the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip on the whereabouts of Caleb Alexander Privett. Privett had an arrest warrant for Failure to Appear on multiple prior felony drug charges.
KOKOMO – Encompass Credit Union has pledged $100,000 over the next four years to support Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo’s Paraprofessional Teaching Apprenticeship Program. KOKOMO — When Katy Johnson of Tipton enrolled at Indiana University Kokomo, she had no idea what major to choose, or what she wanted to do with her life.
At approximately 3:50 a.m. on Feb. 2, 2025, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office received a request to respond to a personal injury crash involving an on-duty Tipton County Deputy at the intersection of C.R. 725 West and St. Rd. 28.

Members of the Tipton Community School Board of Trustees began the year with Julia Kozicki of Church, Church, Hittle and Antrim administering the Oath of Office to the new and re-elected Board members, Andrea Campbell, Kimberly Fague, Jennifer Humrichous and Beth Woelfert.
SHARPSVILLE - Tri-Central Community Schools Board of Finance recently met for their first meeting of the year. During the meeting, Notary Public Erin Wethington administered the Board Member Oath of Office to members starting a new term. This included Chris Kelley, Jay Rayl, Dennis Richardson and Donnie Treadway.
