BEVERLY ELIZABETH WOODSIDES

Beverly Elizabeth Woodsides, age 98, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday morning, April 28, 2023. Elizabeth lived a long and full life devoted to her family, friends, and community. Her family: children, sister and grandchildren feel blessed that they were able to share in her many years of a well-lived life. Elizabeth was born on the family farm in rural Elwood September 20, 1924. She lived her entire life on the family land and primarily in the home built by her father. She raised her own family there. Elizabeth was the daughter of Howard J. and Margaret L. (Holaday) Smith. She married Robert L. Woodsides on April 21, 1946, and they shared 49 years of marriage before his passing in 1995. They were both devoted and active members of the Aroma Community Church (formerly, Aroma United Methodist Church) and shared their lives working hard and giving to the community. The family would like to thank our wonderful caregivers who have loved, honored, and supported our mother and our family with complete ease and grace, especially over the course of the past year. A small, private funeral service will be held at Aroma Community Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Aroma Community Church through Copher- Fesler-May. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.copherfeslermay.com.
