SHARPSVILLE — Tri-Central’s Lady Trojans softball team got a pair of Hoosier Heartland Conference victories last week. Tri-Central defeated visiting Taylor 9-2 last Thursday and then earned a 6-4 win at Eastern last Thursday.

SHARPSVILLE — Tri-Central earned its second straight Hoosier Heartland Conference victory, defeating visiting Taylor 13-6 last Tuesday. But the Eastern’s Kaleb Hurt pitched a one-hitter to lead the Comets to a 10-0, six-inning win over the Trojans in last Thursday’s conference clash.
Tri-Central places 3rd at Panther Classic
ELWOOD — Tri-Central’s varsity baseball team defeated Elwood 7-3 in last Saturday’s third-place game of the Panther Classic. The Trojans lost 19-6 in six innings in the opening round. TC and Elwood played just five innings.
Lady Trojans top Sheridan, lose to CC, Wes-Del
SHARPSVILLE — Tri-Central’s Lady Trojans split a pair of Hoosier Heartland Conference games last week and then closed out the week with an 11-0 loss to visiting Wes-Del last Saturday.
