Phase II of the walking trail has begun. Job manager Travis Yoder said they are hoping to finish up by the end of September provided the weather and supplies cooperate. Work is currently taking place just west of Doctor’s Park and will continue east to meet up with the current trail. A trailhead will be located at the empty lot west of the Doctor’s Park. The project will end with a connection from the basketball courts to the swimming pool. The Trail Committee appreciates the community’s support for this addition. The bridge from South Street to the park will remain closed until the project is completed.
